HS Honor Jazz Band Audition Material

Each Audition will consist of two components. Excerpts and Improve.

Excerpts: Click the link to access the excerpts for each instrument.

Improve: Each student will pick ONE backing track to improv to at their audition. Students will improvise 1-2 choruses of blues in either Bb or F. Students may pick from the following choices. This backing track will be played by the adjudicator at the audition.
